Fourth Industrial Revolution
By 2020, the Fourth Industrial Revolution will bring more advanced robotics and autonomous transport, artificial intelligence and machine learning, advanced materials, biotechnology and genomics. All of this will disrupt every industry, it will transform how we work, how we live, communicate and learn.
Coding and Software Development will be foundational learning for every child. Is not just a requirement in tech jobs, it is relevant to EVERY career.
Computer Technology prepares all students to be active and informed contributors to our increasingly technological society whether they pursue careers in technology or not. It is not about learning to code but rather preparing Students for a Digital future.
DigiBrain Org, a partner company of The DigiBrain Group, is a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding access to Computer Science, Coding and Software Development and increasing participation by girls, women and underrepresented minorities.
Our vision is that every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn these vital skills, just like Math, Chemistry or Life Sciences.
- Improve diversity in Computer Science - Computer science is now foundational knowledge for all 21st-century careers, making access to this field a critical equity issue.
- Modernize education & become a core part of school curriculum's.
- Teachings kids logic, problem solving & creativity.
Diversity in tech
The extreme lack of diversity is not only unjust; it stagnates innovation. By teaching computer sciences, we will build a future in which our technology creators and users are fueled by a diversity of experience and thought. This will result in powerful innovations that benefit a whole range of communities.
Any level of diversity starts in school and communities where kids are told what they can and cannot do. The students who are searching for a career to do for the rest of their lives must ensure they know they are allowed to do the work they desire.
DigiBrain Org enables students the resources, mentorship, and skills necessary to take control of their futures and to be "Ready for the future" in a world that is driven by technology.
